FOR DESIGNERS & FREELANCERS

You Build It. We Host, Secure, and Keep It Running.

A referral partnership for local designers and freelancers who'd rather keep doing design work than become their clients' unpaid tech support. Point their hosting at us — you stay the person they call for the site itself.

How it works

Simple split: you own the design relationship, we own everything that happens on the server.

1

You build the site

Design, build, and launch it the way you always do — nothing changes on your end.

2

Point it at us

Instead of a big-box host, your client's hosting goes through AWACK Hosting — same tiers listed on our pricing page.

3

We run it

Security, backups, uptime, WordPress core/plugin updates, server troubleshooting — all on us, for as long as they're hosted here.

4

You stay the contact

Client wants a design change? They still call you. Anything server-side comes to us instead of landing on your plate.

What stays yours, what's ours

Stays Yours

  • The client relationship
  • Design work, branding, layout changes
  • Content updates, if you want to keep doing them
  • Being the person they call first

Becomes Ours

  • Hosting, uptime, and server security
  • Daily backups, kept two ways
  • Edge WAF & bot filtering
  • WordPress core/plugin updates and server-side troubleshooting

Common questions

Do I lose the client?

No. You stay their point of contact for anything design-related — we're the invisible infrastructure layer underneath, not a competing relationship.

What if they need a small content update later?

Your call. Handle it yourself if you want to stay hands-on, or send it our way and we'll take care of it and loop you in either way.

Do you compete with my design work?

No — hosting is the business here, not design. We're not chasing local design clients away from you.

What's in it for me?

Honestly, not a cash commission — the dollar amounts here don't really support that. What you actually get: a hosting partner who knows the actual site, not a support queue reading from a script. Something breaks or needs a quick fix? A short email gets it handled instead of it becoming your ongoing tech support job. And it keeps another local business running well — which is worth something on its own.
